This view from within Mt Baker ski area in Washington State combines high alpine hanging seracs with subalpine firs and hemlocks. Mt Baker is a special place if you’re a snow lover, some (like me) would say its an actual pilgrimage-worthy spot. Once you arrive, you realize it’s absolutely not about the usual resort lifestyle and condos + après, but rather it’s about the sound of snowboarding and skiing. Challenge, adventure, indomitable views and time operating on a completely different frequency.
