Beyond the dune lies the Pacific darkness. A night photo taken in Seaside, Oregon as I was walking back towards civilization after we enjoyed a sunset fire on the beach. I looked behind me, saw this and just stopped. I loved how this sandy pathway led out into nothingness. Knowing the massive Pacific Ocean and end of the Earth was just over this rise, it added a certain gravity to the experience.
