I’ve always been drawn to whatever lies just beyond the ridgeline — tracing the contours of a relief map, following a drainage upstream, or stepping quietly into a forest to stop and listen. Growing up in western Pennsylvania taught me about the outdoors, how to stay curious, and avoid quick judgments. That early attention to place became my lifelong journey.
Over the years I’ve lived and explored the American West — mountains, forests, lakes, and high desert — by moving through these landscapes on foot, snowboards and mountain bikes. I’ve also lived along the coast, where saltwater, tide charts, and shifting weather became my own plugged-in daily rhythm. Different environments, yet same instinct: observe, immerse, understand.
As a father, cancer survivor, and dedicated outdoorsman, I’ve experienced highs and lows in both elevation and life. The outdoors are my gravity. They've helped define who I am, and their frequencies are where I find healing.
Along the way, I’ve built a growing photographic record of the terrains, seascapes, snowscapes, forests, and waters that shaped my experiences. The images on this site are but a select few - rooted in curiosity, resilience, and a deep love of place.
Enjoy.
