The Yellow Brick Road
The I-70 corridor runs east-west through the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains and is the main artery of the Colorado ski industry. Loveland, A-Basin, Winter Park/Mary Jane, Copper Mountain, Breckenridge, Keystone, Vail and Beaver Creek are all connected via the "Yellow Brick Road" and I-70 is also the primary conduit to year-round adventures for the several million people living in the high desert shadow of the Front Range. I've been lucky enough to spend 16 years of my life exploring everything this corridor has to offer: snowboarding, backcountry riding, mountaineering, camping, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, trail running and photography. The photos in this collection span 21 years (1996-2016), a time when I was learning how to use a camera while outside and adventuring. The earliest ones (1996-99) were taken with my first digital camera (2MP). All of these bring good memories of solo adventures and new friendships based around the Mountain environment.
